A note to inform members of the Worthing Philharmonic Orchestra that the rehearsal scheduled for Monday 13th. February 2012 in the Gordon Room will now be a strings only sectional rehearsal.

The first rehearsal of the 2011-2012 Season is tomorrow evening (5th. September). I hope members have had a relaxing summer break and are looking forward to the new season.
The rehearsal will start at a quarter past seven p.m. in the Assembly Hall, and I plan to make a report to members at 7 o'clock p.m. I also confirm that the rehearsal will be in the Assembly Hall rather than at Durrington School. No decision has yet been taken to hold rehearsals at Durrington, so rehearsals will be at the usual venues until further notice.

Welcome to the new look website of the Worthing Philharmonic Orchestra. The site has been updated to the latest version of the base content management system so that we can better support groups associated with the Orchestra. We've also updated the user interface to make better use of the latest web technologies.
Most of the publicly accessible content of the previous site has been transferred, but more content will be added. Content for Members and Friends has not yet been restored.
The Annual General Meeting was held on 4th. July. Beverley D'Orsaneo stepped down as Chairman after 5 years, and Stephen Williams was elected as her successor.
